हरण भवभय दारुणं ।

About श्री राम स्तुति (Shri Ram Stuti)
श्री राम स्तुति, popularly known by its opening line “श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भजुमन”, is one of the most revered devotional hymns dedicated to Lord Shri Ram. It is composed in a blend of Sanskrit and Awadhi — the same musical language Tulsidas used in the Ramcharitmanas — making it both lyrically beautiful and spiritually profound.
Composer
This stuti was composed by Goswami Tulsidas (1532–1623 CE), one of the greatest saint-poets of the Bhakti movement and author of the Ramcharitmanas. It forms part of his Vinay Patrika — a collection of devotional petitions addressed directly to Lord Ram.

Deity
Lord Shri Ram — the 7th avatar of Lord Vishnu, son of King Dasharatha of Ayodhya, and husband of Mata Sita. He is revered as Maryada Purushottam — the ideal human being who upholds righteousness (Dharma) in every aspect of life.
Description of the Stuti
The stuti opens with a doha describing Ram’s lotus eyes, lotus face, lotus hands and lotus feet — all radiating divine red light. Each subsequent verse praises a different quality of Lord Ram — his unmatched beauty surpassing countless Kamadevas, his blue-cloud-like complexion, his yellow silken garments, his bow and arrow, his victory over demons Khar and Dushan, and his role as the son of Dasharatha and the joy of Kaushal kingdom.
The final verse — composed in the voice of Tulsidas himself — is a prayer requesting Lord Ram to reside in the devotee’s heart and destroy the inner enemies of lust, anger and greed.
